At a staggering 101 metres (331 ft) Dùn Ì is
the highest point on Iona. It offers spectacular views of Iona and, on a
clear day, the islands and mountains for miles around. It is
fairly easy to get to the top provided you are moderately fit. This is
an absolutely MUST DO when on Iona - so don't make excuses for not going
to the top.

How to get there: Pass Iona Abbey
heading north. After about half a mile, turn left through a gate close
to a large white house known as Bishop's Walk. (you will see a small
signpost for Dun I). Follow the 'path' across the grass, taking care not
to disturb the sheep during lambing season and scramble your way up the
hill until you reach the cairn and trig-point. Now marvel at the view
and take a few pictures.
